Great Parks' signature events remove barriers to the natural world across Hamilton County. From celebrating conservation to helping attendees find their wild side, our signature events feature a wide variety of themes and interests helping connect our parks into our communities in a meaningful way.

Event marketing deadlines are approximately 6 weeks prior to the event date.

Fairy Tale FestivalGlenwood GardensThe Great Parks Highfield Discovery Garden at Glenwood Gardens is the setting for fairy tale folklore that leaps off the page into real life for the family-favorite Fairy Tale Festival. Kids of all ages are encouraged to dress up as their favorite fairy tale characters to join the fun. Guests watch as their favorite fairy tales appear before their eyes with character meet-and-greets, armored sword fights, Madcap Puppets shows, and a wizard weaving his magic.

Kids / Outdoor Adventure ExpoWinton WoodsKids Outdoor Adventure Expo is one of the largest FREE interactive outdoor recreation and nature education events for children in the country.
