Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course has been a favorite of golfers for more than 50 years. Located in western Hamilton County, golfers will experience championship course conditions while maintaining the personal feel they have come to expect. Surrounded by natural beauty and native wildlife, every round of golf will be a unique experience leaving golfers looking forward to their next round. After the round, golfers can enjoy a drink or sandwich thanks to our full-service snack bar and spacious outdoor patio. Golf Course Guidelines for Play

Tee times can be made up to 10 days in advance either online at greatparks.org or by calling the golf course. Groups of less than four may be paired together.

Players must check in within 10-15 minutes prior to their starting time or risk forfeiting that time. 

Play is for 9 or 18 holes, riding or walking. Two riders per cart; single rider requests may incur an additional charge during select times. Push carts are available.

Alcohol must be purchased from the facility. Carry-on alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Coolers are permitted for non-alcoholic beverages.

  • About the Course

    Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course is a Par 71 layout with four sets of tees ranging from 4,936–6,818 yards, thereby allowing golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy their round. Two holes stand out to each golfer: the par 5, 680 yard #5 and the par 3, 240 yard #15. Playing these two in even par is quite an accomplishment. We offer full instruction utilizing the practice range and putting green, both of which are open seven days a week.

    The driving range is open from the first scheduled tee time until 7 p.m. The range opens at 11 a.m. on Thursdays.

    Closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Golf shops only are open until noon on Christmas Eve.

    Note: All course fees are per person. Senior rates apply to those 60 and older and are available Monday-Thursday (excluding holidays, league play, outings and tournaments.) Junior rates (17 and younger) are available Monday-Thursday and during select times on weekends.

  • Lessons

    All six Great Parks courses offer lessons given by PGA Professionals - a must for anyone desiring to learn the game of golf! Students will learn the fundamentals of golf, including swing techniques for a variety of shots, course management, rules and etiquette.


    Adult Lessons

    Golf I: Get Golf Ready focuses on golf swing fundamentals to quickly improve your game. The Golf for Women program is designed for the beginning golfer and covers the basic skills needed to play the game.

    Junior Lessons

    The PGA Professionals at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course strive to ensure golf is a game for all ages and becomes a game for a lifetime. We offer a comprehensive junior golf program that is designed to do just that, with programs for youth from ages 5 - 17. Whether it is beginner lessons, multi-day classes, or our parent-child golf league, our professional staff will provide unique and fun ways to learn and love the game of golf.

    Private Lessons

    Private lessons for the beginner offer a personalized way of learning the proper fundamentals of the swing, techniques for various shot and information on how to play the game. For the more experienced player, our PGA professionals will analyze your swing, focusing on problem areas and demonstrating techniques to improve all aspects of your game. Playing lessons are conducted on the golf course, focusing on course management, rules etiquette, care of the course, club selection and shot selection.     Junior one hour lesson/$60
    Semi-private rates are available for groups of two or more.

  • Outings

    Each of Great Parks’ six golf courses may be reserved for group outings. The Mill Course, Sharon Woods Golf Course and The Vineyard feature indoor banquet and meeting facilities, providing additional options for any group event. Interested groups should contact the golf course at the number above for availability and pricing.

  • Specials

    Kids Play Free
    During select times Saturdays and Sundays kids under the age of 18 play for free when accompanied by a paying parent, grandparent or legal guardian. Limit one child per paying parent.

  • Tournaments

    Miami Whitewater Forest golf course hosts a variety of tournaments, including their annual Club Championship and the ever-popular Thanksgiving Scramble.
