An educational farm located within Winton Woods, Parky's Farm has everything from goats to gardens to bees.

With more than 100 acres, including outdoor playgrounds, picnic shelters, gardens, orchards, and animals, Parky's Farm is a great way to spend a day with the family.

  • Discover & Explore

    Parky's Farm is home to traditional farm animals, including ponies, chickens, goats and cows. The ability to see the animals in the barnyard will depend on weather, temperature and other factors. More personal interaction with the animals is available by registering for a Parky’s Farm program.

    Where does our food come from? Witness the changes in the growing season of fruits, vegetables and herbs in the large demonstration garden and orchard.

    In addition to the animals and gardens, Parky's Farm is proud to showcase a multitude of natural habitats. From fields and open spaces to ponds, wetland and woods, you can discover a large variety of native flora and fauna.

  • Group Programs

    For groups ages 2-102, Parky's Farm offers affordable programming options to create and cultivate a lifetime of memories. Join Great Parks throughout the year to enjoy seasonal events and programming.

    Pre-K through fourth grade field trip options align with the Common Core education standards and feature hands-on educational experiences to enhance your classroom curriculum.

    Senior groups, enjoy a relaxing farm experience while visiting with the animals, fishing or taking a wagon ride.

    Summer Fun in the Sun programs encourage fun and safe interactions with the farm and natural world for your day camp, summer school, child care center or play group.

    Scouts can sign up for interactive programs designed to complete badges and enhance scouting requirements. Click here for a list of current offerings.

  • Frequently Asked Questions

    Can I buy food at the farm?
    While food service is not available, snacks such as juice and ice cream novelties are available seasonally at our ticket booth when our activities are open. Please bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in one of our first-come, first-served shelters.

    Can I feed the animals?
    All the animals on the farm, both domestic and wild, are on a strict diet. Please do not feed them.

    Can I reserve a picnic shelter?
    Picnic shelters at Parky’s Farm are available to reserve on Saturdays and Sundays. If a shelter is not reserved for the day, it is available for use on a first-come, first-served basis. The Clydesdale, Shetland or Holstein Shelters can be reserved by calling 513-521-7275.

    Can I rent the Hayloft Barn?
    We are not currently accepting reservations for the Hayloft Barn.

    Can I bring alcohol?
    No.

    Can I rent the animals for a party off site?
    Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate these requests at this time.

    Can I bring my dog to the farm?
    For the safety of our farm animals, pets are not allowed.

    I have a duckling that needs a new home. Can I drop it off at the farm?
    Parky's Farm does accept animal donations occasionally; however, space is very limited. Please call 513-521-3276 to see if we can accept your animals. If we cannot, we will do our best to direct you to others who can assist you.

    Can I ride my bike/skates/skateboard around the farm?
    Bikes and skates are not permitted at Parky’s Farm.

    Is the farm handicap accessible?
    Yes.
