Great Parks offers a variety of outdoor activities that progressively increase in challenge including icebreakers, mobile initiatives and a low ropes course. Each activity is designed to enhance teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
How are activities selected for my group?
Great Parks will collaborate with you to understand your team’s needs, interests and goals after booking your reservation. Based on this information, the team designs a custom experience to best meet your specific requirements and objectives.
What is the typical duration of a team-building program?
Activities range from half-day sessions (9 a.m.-noon, 1-4 p.m.) or full-day programs (9 a.m.-4 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break).
Can team-building activities be customized?
Yes, Great Parks can tailor activities to meet your team’s specific requirements and objectives.
What outcomes can I expect?
Participants commonly report improved peer-to-peer communication, increased trust, enhanced problem-solving abilities, heightened collaboration, boosted morale and reduced stress.
How many participants can our group have?
Great Parks team building programs are designed to accommodate eight to 32 participants, depending on the activity.
Are team-building activities suitable for all fitness levels?
Yes, activities are suitable for a variety of fitness levels. Please inform the adventure team of any specific needs or concerns when booking. Participants can also share personal needs on their individual health forms.
How do you ensure the safety of participants?
Safety is our top priority. Participants will be informed of potential risks ahead of the program and are required to complete a general waiver agreement. Programs operate on a “challenge by choice” basis, allowing participants to engage at their own comfort level. Great Parks’ team members are trained facilitators, first aid certified and continuously assess the risk of each activity throughout the day.
