Discover all the thrills of the great outdoors right in your backyard! Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just starting to explore outdoor activities, our Outdoor Adventure Expo is for you. From archery, climbing, and disc golf to biking, boating, and fishing, there's something for guests of all ages to enjoy during this wide-open weekend. Kids Outdoor Adventure Expo is expanding to two days with new adventures for all ages to Find Your Wild on Saturday!

Guests can check out a vast array of activities and programs offered by Great Parks and local organizations. Our interpreters and outdoor adventure experts will be on hand to share their knowledge and guide you through exhilarating experiences.

Fuel up with delicious fare from local food trucks and groove to live music at Winton Harbor. Don't miss this opportunity to explore, learn, and have fun in the great outdoors with Great Parks and our community partners!

  • Friday, July 19 - Kids Adventure Expo

    9:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

    It’s all about kids on Friday! Bring your youngest friends and family members for an entire day dedicated to introducing children to the wonders of outdoor exploration and adventure! Children will engage in activities such as fishing, rock wall, golf, biking, paddling and more for free!

    Note: The Wet Play area will be closed on Friday

  • Saturday, July 20 - Outdoor Adventure Expo & 5k/10k

    9:30 a.m.–3 p.m.

    *5k & 10k race begins at 8:30 a.m.

    Families and adults can explore Great Parks and partners’ outdoor recreation and educational offerings, enjoy 50% discounts on non-motorized boat rentals, and take their mark at 8:30 a.m. for the 5k or 10k race!

    All 5k/10k participants will receive a custom race medal and t-shirt. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top two finishers in each age group. Registration will remain open until all spaces are full.
