2009 Motor Vehicle Permit

A valid Motor Vehicle Permit is required to enter the parks. An annual permit is $5.00; Hamilton County residents can receive the $5.00 resident reward certificate, redeemable at the Riding Center, snack bars, gift shops and golf courses.

April 27 – July 26: 6:30 am – Dark

September 14 – November 22: 7:50 am - Dark
November 23 – December 31: 9:00 am – Dark*

Golf course will be open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only during the month of December (subject to change).

On Mondays, course is closed for play until 10:00 am except holidays and special events. Golf shop will open for business at 9:00 a.m. every Monday.

*Golf shop open for weekends 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. during December until Christmas

June
27-28 - Vineyard Classic - $125.00 per person
Entry fee must be paid to enter and includes two 18 hole rounds, riding cart, prizes, beverages and Saturday grill out. Players may form their own group for Saturday's round. Tee times range from 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Deadline to register is June 20. Download entry blank.

July
12 - Summer Parent-Child Tournament - $40.00 per team
This fun 9 hole event will be comprised of 3 holes Scramble, 3 holes Best Ball and 3 holes Select Drive Alternate Shot. Entry fee must be paid to enter and includes greens fees, team prizes, Closest to the Pin and Long Drive contests and post round sandwich and snacks. Riding carts are included, but walking is permitted. Tee times begin at 5:00 p.m. Deadline to enter is July 5. Download entry blank.

August
16 - Fall Parent-Child Tournament - $40.00 per team
This fun 9 hole event will be comprised of 3 holes Scramble, 3 holes Best Ball and 3 holes Select Drive Alternate Shot. Entry fee must be paid to enter and includes greens fees, team prizes, Closest to the Pin and Long Drive contests. Riding Carts are included, but walking is permitted. Tee times begin at 4:00 p.m. Deadline to register is August 9. Download entry blank.

23 - Fall Four-Person Scramble - $200.00 per team
A great opportunity to play golf with three of your friends in a fun and competitive event! Entry fee must be paid to enter and includes 18 hole greens fees, team prizes, hole contests and post round snacks. Riding carts are not included and walking is permitted. Optional skins game of $20.00 per team. Deadline to register is August 17 or until field is full. Download entry blank.

October
4 - Two-Person Scramble - $100.00 per team
You and your partner can enjoy a fun day of golf during this scramble event. Entry fee must be paid to enter and includes 18 holes of golf, team prizes and post round snacks. Riding carts not included and walking is permitted. Optional skins game $10.00 per team. Tee times range from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Deadline to register is September 28 or until field is full. Sam ArnoldSam Arnold - Sam has been working at The Vineyard GC since 1998. After working 9 years as the first assistant, he was promoted to the Head Golf Professional position in 2007. Sam graduated from Milford High School in 1990 where he was the Captain of the 1989-1990 Division I State Golf Champions. He attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where he played four years on the golf team and received his degree in Psychology. Sam is currently the President of the Cincinnati Chapter of the Southern Ohio PGA Section. He is also currently the reigning player of the year in the Cincinnati Chapter as well as the Southern Ohio PGA Section.

In 2006, Sam qualified through the Professional National Championship and played in the 88th PGA Championship at Medinah Country Club where Tiger Woods won by five shots. In 2008, he also qualified and played in the 90th PGA Championship at Oakland Hills where Padrig Harrington won by two shots over Sergio Garcia.

Aside from Sam’s many playing accomplishments, Sam excels at instruction. Sam gives about 200 private lessons annually to golfers of all skill levels. Although many of the lessons Sam gives are to beginners and intermediate golfers, some of Sam’s students are currently competing professionally.
